On April 23, 2012, two strange incidents happen within a block of each other in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They involve 20 people-some would call them "townies"-whose paths have been crossing and colliding, joining and breaking apart for 35 years. Strangers and acquaintances. Friends and lovers. Rivals and enemies. Luminaries and outcasts. How will they all react when their paths converge so curiously? Will they consider it a coincidence? Or will they see it as something more-whether it be the ordinary workings of some unfathomable design or the miraculous performance of undeniable providence? If so, how will they react?
