The Lights That Stay: A Picture Book That Inspires Self-Confidence and Celebrates Individuality - Hardcover
by Cortney Renae Cino (Author), Marina Saumell (Illustrator)
A STORY THAT INSPIRES SELF-CONFIDENCE AND CELEBRATES GROWING UP
The sun's light changes throughout the day, but it never disappears. What about the light inside each of us?
The Lights That Stay artfully weaves together the similarities between the sun's light and a child's inner light, reminding readers that something inside each of us is enduring and powerful.
As a child grows, her inner light shifts--guiding her through challenges and new experiences.
Through it all, she discovers:
Life will always bring change...
And even when it's hard to see, my inner light--just like the sun's--will always illuminate the way.
"A gorgeously rendered affirmation fueled by powerful metaphors to bolster self-love." -Kirkus Reviews
Perfect for:
- Graduation and moving-up milestones
- Big transitions and new beginnings
- Building self-confidence and self-esteem
Fans of Nancy Tillman, Kobi Yamada, and Amy Krouse Rosenthal, or beloved classics like Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss will find a similar sense of warmth and encouragement in this beautiful and uplifting picture book.
A meaningful gift for children ages 4-8, and for grown-ups who may need a reminder, too.
